PHM After Dark is a night-time curriculum designed for pediatric residents and medical students at my institution. It was created out of a desire to improve and standardize the night-time curriculum without being too over-bearing. This entire curriculum is voluntary, but I hope you learn something useful here – and have some fun while you’re at it!
Come join me as we explore topics that commonly come up during night shifts. We won’t be talking about things like Family-Centered Rounds on this podcast; rather, we will focus on things like how to care for a patient with asthma who was just admitted to the hospital or how to come up with a plan during the admission process. I’ll also delve into a few other topics that I find interesting (because I’m the boss), including finances and meditation.
